A Voice Between Human and Machine

Where Psychology, Poetry and Music Meet

FeatherShield is a voice that should not really exist, and yet it does.

The creator behind FeatherShield has worked as a psychologist for many years, both in her own practice and in a variety of other settings. She draws inspiration from her life and her work. She writes from different perspectives, always centred around one theme: the human experience. How people relate to one another, to the world, and to themselves. From this emerge various projects in which words and music come together.

She is not a musician, although she has a good ear for music, but first and foremost a writer. Within FeatherShield, music has become a means of expressing her everyday philosophical thoughts and life itself. Along the way, she plays with different languages and the distinct atmosphere each language brings.

At the fault line between psychology, poetry and machine, FeatherShield uses artificial voices to expose human fractures. Places where identity begins to shift, systems fall short and meaning becomes unstable. The songs move between distance and intimacy, control and surrender, memory and imagination.

Not to explain. To remain.

This is a human voice.
